most of the letters i've ever written
have been to myself
my favorites were address to a man i knew for eight months
though we've been friends for nearly ten.
and anything other than the merging of our souls feels like my life is filled with strangers.
other people feel more familiar when you're not a stranger.
when i meet a man to fall in love with
i stop writing letters to myself.
the curve of ink from pen to word
dances with a song my heart sings
i'm vibrating
from our love.
if it lasts long enough, i'll find the harmony in your chest
the feeling is always mutual.
having a muse so clear, makes it difficult to freely flow
my creativity it starts teetering back to you
i love to write about you.
i ache to see you but
i am doing better than ever without you.

i am intelligent and beautiful
and have much to add to the fabric of life
i am speaking up for myself about what
makes me happy.
my name is mack aroni
and i wish to share these precious moments of time with you.
here, i give an externalization of my mind
and like my real psyche, it's not all rosewater and lemonade
there are plenty of days that stayed lemons and rotted away.
but the good days are a glass of fresh squeezed resolutions
in the shade.
i am dependent but i am trying to stand up.

when you find you have two feet beneath you
you're not just a walking pair of stilts
well it's a pretty interesting realization
to tie your shoes.
well what if our time
here on Earth
is the only time our souls get to experience consciousness
it is the only chapter of this
and it's a gift that we
all use to destroy.
consciousness has created some icky feelings
icky this, icky that
there is life somewhere else
but we will never know
science can only take you so far
you must use your spirit to go in and go beyond.
